Due to Online Harassment, Anita Sarkeesian’s Workshop in Sweden WON’T be televised!

It seems that HUMlab, the school that is hosting the workshop about Tropes vs Women in Video Games is fully aware of Anita’s online “popularity” and refuses to live-stream or rebroadcast any of Anita Sarkeesian’s lectures online.

A friend sent me this snapshot from an email he sent the school in hopes of seeing a livestream from the event.

For a woman who claims to embrace her critics, this seems like an attempt to hide from them further. Please keep in mind that her Kickstarter ended in June, and the videos were meant to release in August. There has been no update to her Website or Tumblr blog in almost 2 months (with concern to the project). Even her lecture in Sweden is widely unknown and barely talked about on Twitter aside from just a couple tweets after-the-fact.

It is obvious that Sarkeesian is hiding from the limelight after taking $160,000 of Gamers’ money.

Consider this just an update on the whole situation, as we won’t see anything official from her camp on the matter at all.
